Wonder Comics December 2020 solicitations for King in Black event

Marvel Comics has unveiled a slew of advance December solicitations for titles tying into its Venom-centric Top executive in Black result, ahead of the publishing company's full Dec 2020 solicitations expected later this calendar month.

The titles solicited include the previously announced Pekan #1, King in Black: Immortal Hulk #1, and King in Unfortunate: Doctor Doomsday/Ironman #1, likewise as the newly announced King in Black: Namor #1 and #2 by Kurt Busiek, Ben Melville Louis Kossuth Dewey, and Jonas Scharf, a linkup in Spider-Woman #7 Karla Pacheco and Pere Pérez, and course the central titles of the event Venom #37, and King in Pitch blackness #1 and #2.

King in Black: Namor flashes game to the past for a story of the young Sub-Seafarer and separate Atlanteans encountering Knull's forces.

"But the mission involves State alchemists in 1930s Murmansk, a dangerous mystic relic, and a cataclysm that brings to life the most menacing threat that Atlantis has ever visaged! Now all of submarine civilization is imperiled, and only three youngsters can save it!"

Meanwhile, in Wanderer-Cleaning woman #7, Jessica Drew's ongoing clash with her newest nemesis Octavia Vermis continues - and crosses paths with King in Black and Spider-Woman and Octavia seem to fall in forces.

"Uninhibited away her friends, there's only when one individual who comes to Jess' aid…Octavia Vermis! She's got a cure for Jessica, and the prescription is: Crime!" reads the solicitation.

"Subordinate the cover of the Knull invasion, Wanderer-Woman is stealing elements of a cure to her qualify…or is she?"

King in Black: Heavenly Hulk #1

King in Black: Immortal Hulk #1 is one of cardinal December King in Black one-shots that incorporates a Christmas root, this time centering on one of Whale's most infamous identities, Joe Fixit.

"The Hulk is in a bad come out. Half of his alters are dead OR missing — including Bruce Banner — and the Leader's got the eternal rest of him on the ropes," reads the appeal.

And then there's Marvel's other vacation-themed King in Fatal one-shot, King in Pitch-black: Doctor Doom/Iron Man, which features the two armored icons taking on a Knull-possessed Santa Claus.

"Iron Man has risked everything to save Eddie Brock, but now he's left with nothing but guilt. As longtime 'frenemy' Doctor Condemn shows up with both counseling lyric and ulterior motives, they'll be forced to battle an wholly-also-familiar apparition of the vacation season—albeit one nowadays twisted and controlled by the recent intrusion of Earth away the symbiote homeworld," reads the official description.

Finally, Marvel includes Pekan #1, a relaunch of the recently-on-abatement title, which ties into Billie Jean Moffitt King in Blackness, but continues equally an on-going serial publication after the event's conclusion.

"Feeling lucky? Knull's attack on Earth interrupts the Black Purge's latest heist, and if you know Felicia, you love that's a problem," reads the official description.
